Half Day Mental Health Awareness

This course is designed to raise awareness of mental health in the workplace. 

It covers: 

  • What mental health is and how to challenge stigma? 
  • A basic knowledge of some common mental health issues.
  • An introduction to looking after your own mental health and maintaining wellbeing.
  • Confidence to support someone in distress or who may be experiencing a mental health issue.

1 Day Mental Health Champions

As a manager, mental health should be at the forefront to help your team be successful. 

The 1 Day course covers: 

  • What is mental health?
  • The most common mental health concerns.
  • Spotting the signs.

2 Day Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid is as important as training Physical First Aiders & Health and Safety. This course trains first aiders of mental health in a practical way so they can go back to the workplace and implement strategies for positive mental health. 

The 2-Day course covers: 

  • What mental health is and how to challenge stigma and discrimination. 
  • Detailed knowledge of depression, suicide, anxiety disorders, self-harm, eating disorders, psychosis. 
  • 5-step process to use for Mental Health First Aid. 
  • Practical and realistic case studies to use the 5 Step Process. 
  • Recovery and bringing a strategy of positive mental health into your workplace. 

Who should attend? Anyone from any level in your organisation who is interested in mental health and would like to develop a strategy to increase positive mental health in your workplace.

Half Day Mental Health First Aid Refresher

As a Mental Health First Aider, you are part of a movement that is growing across the UK. To help ensure that the lessons learned in Mental Health First Aid last a lifetime, Mental Health First Aiders who have taken the Adult Mental Health First Aid course three or more years ago should re-certify to stay up-to-date on the latest information about mental health and substance use disorders, and how to offer help to people who may need it.

The Refresher course is simple and affordable.

These courses enable accredited Mental Health First Aiders™ to revise their knowledge and skills, and to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.
