- Detailed knowledge of depression, suicide, anxiety disorders, self-harm, eating disorders, psychosis.
- 5-step process to use for Mental Health First Aid.
- Practical and realistic case studies to use the 5 Step Process.
- Recovery and bringing a strategy of positive mental health into your workplace.

Half Day Mental Health First Aid Refresher
As a Mental Health First Aider, you are part of a movement that is growing across the UK. To help ensure that the lessons learned in Mental Health First Aid last a lifetime, Mental Health First Aiders who have taken the Adult Mental Health First Aid course three or more years ago should re-certify to stay up-to-date on the latest information about mental health and substance use disorders, and how to offer help to people who may need it.
The Refresher course is simple and affordable.
These courses enable accredited Mental Health First Aiders™ to revise their knowledge and skills, and to extend their accreditation for a further 3 years.
